Last night Cully, Donnie and I went to the IMPA awards ceremony, which was a cool experience, lots of really nice, down to eath, Iowa filmmakers.

The really cool part though, was that we took hom 6 awards!

The 3 Awards of Achievement (nominations) that we took were: Entertainment Long Form, Lighting Design (Cully), and Editing (Cully)

and the 3 Awards of Excellence (1st Place) we took were: Screenplay – Produced, Directing – Long Form (me), and Original Music Score (David J Murphy).

So congrats everyone!

The Vindication of Ronald Clay, and Other Fables for a Rainy Day is now officially in post production. Believe it or not, I’m on the same editing rig, in the same editing room we used to make Wormtooth Nation. For this new project we have way more budget, way more crew, and way more experience, but here I am. It’s like a shrine. A small lovely shrine to Steampunk, with a rattling vent, and gently wafting curtains.

I’m planning on having a teaser sometime in January. I know that’s not soon for you, but it’s soon for me.
